Upper & lower resp tract, GI tract, genitourinary tract, skin & soft tissues & other infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Childn 6-12 yr 5-7.5 mL bid-tid, 2-6 yr 2.5-5 mL bid-tid, 1-2 yr 1.25-2.5 mL bid-tid.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take at least 30 min-2 hr before meals.

Special Precautions

Not to be used in patients w/ impaired liver function, patients who developed jaundice or other symptoms of liver toxicity from previous treatment. Concomitant use w/ CYP3A eg, nitroimidazole antifungals; diltiazem or verapamil (those at risk for heart irregularities or long QT manifestations).
